ArtSeed brings together students and professional artists from diverse backgrounds to work side-by-side in an atelier style apprenticeship. While building a portfolio of their own art, students are involved in the documentation of and publicity for a culminating exhibition. Studio work is integrated with community work as youngsters (and sometimes grown-ups) experience the serious challenges and rewards of being a professional in any field.
