President’s Day Art with Veterans, Art-a-thon Ahoy!

President’s Day Drop-In Art-Making
Monday, February 20, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

ArtSeed’s Founder, Josefa Vaughan, wants you to join her and some veteran friends, alongside children who are on holiday, and other ArtSeed artists as we send mail art depicting our values and concerns to the White House or to any other address you choose.

ArtSeed’s 2017 theme is Marching Home: Grasping Valor, Preserving  Freedom and Protecting the Earth on the Way to Peace. A core stimulus for making works this year is the Mailing Home Project. Our aim is to illuminate the interconnectedness of social and environmental issues, revealing the urgency of how human power relations affect the health of the planet and all the people who live on it. Please share this event with your friends and come!
