School holiday but you work? Your child will have a blast this Friday and get a free mystery box! Learn more about coaching for teaching artists, staff development for classroom teachers, day-long school holiday workshops, afterschool and weekend classes, or year-long apprenticeships. Location: 4301 Geary at 7th Ave (garden stairs, 2nd floor, Room #5).

Neighbor.Hood, a photo series by long-time ArtSeed photographer, Charles “Trey” Houston, exhibits a wide-variety of one-of-a-kind images taken from nearly 5 years of exploring the streets of San Francisco. What defines your neighborhood? What are its boundaries? What are the daily generalities and idiosyncrasies of its people and buildings, from the whimsical to the stark (and all that lies between)?A New Leaf Florist is a family run florist providing services around San Francisco and the Bay Area for more than a decade.

ArtSeed’s Fall Open Studios Wrap Up

Thank you for supporting ArtSeed’s Fall Open Studios on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16. Selected work from our summer programs was displayed alongside art by practicing artists and we gave away 80 mystery boxes. ArtSeed Programs 2015-16 Final Report
This year’s theme and title of ArtSeed’s final exhibition was “Cottage Industry 2016: Locomotion, Collaboration, Let’s Beat Poverty and Racism In All Their Forms!” With its sense of urgency it produced the most activity ever. Never has our final body of work been more precise and yet expansive in its rendering of our chosen topics: Locomotion, Collaboration, Poverty, and Racism.
