As you celebrate this time of gift giving with your family and friends, please remember to add ArtSeed to your list and make a tax-deductible donation by December 31st.
Your timely contribution will improve our 2014 financial picture and help ArtSeed close a narrow funding gap, finishing the year with a minimum annual income total required by most grantors. Even a modest gift from you could help put us over this important threshold, allowing us to have access to larger funds needed to serve more children.
Your donations are critical in helping ArtSeed continue its mission of connecting the most resourceful and gifted with the youngest and most vulnerable citizens of the Bay Area and beyond. Celebrate the season, honor a loved one, or commemorate ArtSeed’s fifteenth anniversary with a gift of any size and help carry the momentum from this year into 2015!
Thanks again for your generous support of our efforts.
We would like thank everyone who came out to join us at the Presidio Wreath Making Workshop last weekend. The event was a huge success; we had overflow crowds Saturday and Sunday, and a great time was had by all. We would also like to thank the Presidio Trust for sponsoring this event and asking us to partner with them for the second straight year. A special thanks goes out to Margaret Casey, Amy Deck, Allison Stone, Junior Rocha, Sal Gonzalez, Ellen McKinstry, Katy Thompson, Susan Abu-Shumays, Jeff Wright, Sam Clinton, and others at the Presidio Trust. Big applause to Bay View YMCA faculty Michael Bennett and Rachel Siatoto who, in collaboration with the Presidio Trust, arranged to provide lunch and PresidioGo shuttle transportation to and from the park’s events for families in Bay View Hunters Point.
We aslo want to recognize the ArtSeed artists and volunteers who contributed their time; ArtSeed’s Studio Practice Cottage Artist-in-Residence lead artist Jan Van Buyten, along with Tim Abeta, Edna Arterberry, Melinda Costello, Mark Harris, Jade K., Kathryn Kain, Meg Poli, June Lee, Margaret Ma, Andrew P., Megumi Poli, William Scott, Velvet Van Bueren, Maximilien Volckaert, and Jade and Andrew from the ArtSeed Youth Council. This was truly a collaborative effort; we couldn’t have done it without your help. Great job! Click here to see photos from the event on Flickr.
